Year-end checklist for Nordic webshops

Year-end is far easier when your books have been up to date all year. Work through this list well before the deadlines.

The checklist

Go through each point.

• All sales booked and order counts match
• Refunds and credit notes recorded
• Payouts reconciled with the bank
• Stock counted and valued
• VAT returns match sales
• Records kept for the legal period (5 years in Norway, 7 in Sweden)

How long must I keep records?

Five years in Norway and seven years in Sweden.
